A Walk in Her Shoes Walk-a-thon in which participants put on high-heeled shoes as a symbolic gesture to walk in solidarity with women. This visually impacting community event is a great opportunity for businesses and community members to show support for the men (women and children too) who are taking a stand against sexual assault. It is a great way to let the community know that we all care about women’s issues and are willing to not only “talk the talk, but also walk the walk”.
